Dr. Shannon Stadler

Dr. Shannon Stadler believes that by working with the body’s natural healing, patients can regain their ability to do the things they love, but without the pain. This passion for people combined with a love of science drew her to chiropractics. She joined Lake Country Health Center in 2010 as an associate chiropractor and works alongside Dr. Daniel Murray. As a magna cum laude graduate of the prestigious Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, Dr. Stadler brings a unique perspective to the practice.

Formerly a Division I college athlete, Dr. Stadler experienced the pain and frustration of injury and chronic pain over her playing career which led to an interest in physiology and the body’s ability to heal. Prior to attending Palmer, Dr. Shannon graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University in biochemistry. At that point in her academic career, she had planned to continue on to the University’s pharmacy program until she had a chance meeting with a chiropractor.
One of the things that most appealed to Dr. Stadler as she watched the various chiropractors work, was the relationship that they developed with patients. Over time, they got to know the patients and would see how their treatment was positively impacting their patients’ quality of life. She saw the chiropractors were treating the actual cause of a patient’s discomfort instead of just eliminating the symptoms. That methodology, along with the philosophy that healing is best achieved by considering the whole person, also complemented Dr. Stadler's biochemistry background and what she understood about the interconnectedness of the body.

As accomplished as she is, Dr. Shannon has also taken additional coursework to learn even more about how chiropractics may help specific types of disorders. She has completed the Pediatric Practice Program at Palmer. Dr. Stadler looks forward to bringing relief to all of her patients but she takes particular interest in treating athletes, women, and children.

Dr. Stadler is deeply involved in the Lake Country community and has a heart for serving underprivileged families whether abroad or local. She traveled to Fiji with Palmer as a member of their Chiropractics Without Borders program. Locally, she’s very involved with Touched Twice Lake Country, a free clinic that offers a variety of services from medical screenings, chiropractic consultations, vision screenings, haircuts and more to underserved residents of Waukesha County.
